From 13th to 15th of May 2026, the Electronic Communications Office of Latvia organised a study visit in Latvia for the Information Technology and Cyber Security Service of the Republic of Moldova (hereinafter – STISC). The training combined theoretical sessions on project management, financial management, sustainability, risk management, and procurement procedures with practical learning through hands-on experience in the workplace.
During the visit, STISC received mentor support, individual consultations, group discussions and opportunities to exchange experience with experts from Latvian institutions and companies.
- Experts from the Electronic Communications Office of Latvia and SIA “SAFEGE Baltija” provided practical consultations and shared good practice examples for addressing project challenges.
- SJSC "Latvian State Radio and Television Centre" shared experience in data centre development and service provision to clients.
- SJSC "Latvian Railways" introduced its experience in implementing infrastructure projects and adapting to European Union standards.
- The Central Finance and Contracting Agency shared experience in the management system for European Union funds projects.
- The Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development provided insights into digital transformation topics.
The visit strengthened the professional capacity of STISC representatives and supported long-term knowledge transfer within the institution.
At the conclusion of the programme, participants received certificates of participation and provided feedback to support further cooperation between representatives of Latvia and Moldova.
